Everyone knows what to pack for a typical vacation, but Disney vacations are anything but typical! Add these items to your luggage and you will be all set!
For the theme parks
- Bookbag/crossbody bag
- Comfortable, broken-in shoes (two pairs – Keen, Teva, New Balance, Hoka, Crocs)
- Hat
- Motion sickness medicine (I prefer non-drowsy Dramamine)
- Moleskin to prevent/cover blisters
- Magic Bands (or Magic Mobile)
- Photo ID for each adult
- Extra credit card (in case there are any Magic Band payment system issues)
For your resort room
- Stain remover stick
- Tide Pods and dryer sheets (if you plan to do laundry)
- Bag for dirty clothes and another for wet bathing suits
- Small pair of scissors/nail clippers
- Clothespin to fully close room curtains
- Zippered baggies (large and small, many uses)
- Nightlight
- Flip flops for the pool (towels and children’s life jackets are provided at the pool areas)
- USB charging station (to charge multiple devices)
In your theme park bag
- Battery pack to recharge your phone
- Cooling cloth or washcloth in zippered bag
- Reusable water bottle(s)
- Handheld fan(s) or water-misting fan(s)
- Baby wipes and hand sanitizer
- Ponchos or umbrellas
- Glow sticks/bracelets to wear at night
- Over the counter meds (headache, upset stomach, pain relievers)
- Small first-aid kit with bandages
- Compact, foldable blanket for sitting on the ground
