I wanted to report live from Disney and let everyone know that the Mouse is as spectacular as always! With each visit, I am constantly reminded why I love visiting the Walt Disney World® Resort in Florida. Never to be mistaken as one of your garden variety regional amusement parks, these are truly Theme Parks that are built to do more than merely amuse. They excite, amaze, entertain, thrill and dazzle in everything that is offered.
I can honestly say that I love Disney, all things Disney, and that every trip is well-worth each and every dollar spent!
Now for the live part.
The weather is wonderful, the crowds are very manageable, food is divine and the entertainment is SPECTACULAR! I’m at Disney’s Beach Club Villas for this trip and this resort is quickly becoming my new favorite! The resort itself is beautiful, cast members are over-the-top friendly, grounds are immaculate, Stormalong Bay (which features a sand bottom pool!!) is the most amazing pool experience, proximity to Epcot® and Disney’s Hollywood Studios™ can’t be beat and well I could go on and on!!!
Lots of great food has been enjoyed, as usual! We also experienced the Wishes Dessert Party at the Magic Kingdom® Park on Monday evening. This is a separately priced event that requires reservations but it was a great treat for the family with yummy desserts to enjoy prior to watching the evening fireworks.
Don’t forget the kiddies! My daughter participated in the Albatross Treasure Cruise here at the resort and LOVED it! A great adventure for the 4-12 age group and also separately priced experience, this was a wonderful addition to the trip and gave her the chance to experience a kid’s only cruise looking for clues to find treasure.
Thankfully the trip isn’t over yet and there’s more fun to come. Let me help you plan a trip of adventure and enjoyment for you and your family!
Our last two days at Disney were GREAT! We spent them enjoying the Magic Kingdom® Park, Epcot®, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park. Our visit to the Magic Kingdom® Park on Friday (the start to Memorial Day weekend) definitely included a far larger crowd that we had experienced earlier in the week. We were glad that we had decided to make Friday our last day of the vacation.
Overall we had a wonderful trip and experienced many new restaurants and attractions! We’re looking forward to our next trip in October! Stay tuned!
Yesterday was a blast! We spent the morning at Disney’s Hollywood Studios™ and the evening at Epcot®. All meals were excellent and the wait times at all of the attractions we experienced were minimal. A few typical Florida rain showers popped up but they were actually quite welcome as they helped reduce the heat of the day.
Tonight we’ll experience Disney’s Pirate and Princess Party at the Magic Kingdom® Park for the first time and we’re expecting to have great fun enjoying that event!
UPDATE: The Disney’s Pirate and Princess Party was a huge hit! We absolutely loved the fun and excitement and will definitely catch this event the next time it is offered during one of our trips to Disney!! I think it was my favorite of all the separate ticketed after-closing parties at the Magic Kingdom® Park!
Our second day has gotten off to a great start! We spent the morning at the Magic Kingdom® Park and will head out to Epcot® this evening. We experienced several attractions this morning and dined in the theme park at The Crystal Palace and Cinderella’s Royal Table. Both are great meals and overall wonderful experiences to share with your family. Meals at Cinderella’s Royal Table take place in Cinderella Castle and are truly magical moments!
We arrived at the Walt Disney World® Resort today and are excited to start our trip! We spent the early afternoon at Downtown Disney® shopping and enjoying the sights and sounds of the area. Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique was our first stop and experiencing a princess makeover was the highlight of the day!! The time and care that the Fairy Godmothers-in-training dedicate to the little girls (and boys!!) is amazing and the makeovers turn out fantastic! A definite must-do!
Dinner took us to the Cape May Café at Disney’s Beach Club Resort for the clambake buffet. Talk about great food! We left the restaurant pleasantly stuffed! We strolled along Disney’s BoardWalk for some evening entertainment before heading back to our room at Disney’s BoardWalk Villas.
It was a hot day today, as is typical for Florida in late May. Travel during this time of the year needs to involve rest and a slow pace to handle the heat.
A great start to another Disney trip! Check back for more updates during our trip!
