Exciting restaurant updates and changes on the way!
The Italy pavilion in Epcot® has construction underway for a new authentic Neapolitan pizzeria with seating for 300. It will be a casual pizzeria that features wood-burning ovens and water imported from Naples to produce an outstanding authentic Italian pizza. Other menu items will include salads, sandwiches and pastas. Scheduled to open in the fall of 2010.
The Mexico pavilion is also seeing changes to their counter service restaurant, Cantina de San Angel. It is expanding and revamping the menu. Scheduled to re-open in the fall of 2010.
Not to be outdone, changes have been made to the dinner experience at Cinderella’s Royal Table in Cinderella Castle at the Magic Kingdom® Park . The experience has become Fairytale Dining and now includes multiple princesses instead of Cinderella and her family. This change was made in early February.
Let’s see, last one for now. McDonald’s at the Downtown Disney® area will soon be no more. It will close on April 30th and be replaced this fall by another fast food restaurant called Pollo Campero. This is a chain that offers Latin-inspired offerings focusing on chicken.
For everyone who has been blasted by the snowfall that has seemingly fallen non-stop since December, let’s start planning Disney vacations! Warm weather and sunshine beckons! Let’s leave this snow and cold weather behind for some sun and fun with the Mouse!
Just released is a special room only discount offer that covers most dates through late August. This extends a previously released discount that went through early June. Theme park tickets and dining can be added to this offer as well.
Also extended is a gift card offer through 8/14 on certain stays.
Drop us a line for a quote today so we can show you how much you can save on your summer vacation!
As we begin each new year, many people make resolutions for ways they would like to change their life. Appearance, love, wealth, employment and health are some of the topics that folks focus on. We all know that many resolutions don’t last into February so I’m never certain why, year after year, so much attention is put on those passing thoughts that we all come up with.
Why not start 2010 off with something productive? Make a plan of how you’d like to ENJOY the year. Maybe you’d like to spend a week this summer relaxing in the sand with the ocean waves crashing at your feet. Perhaps a trip to a museum, aquarium or annual event has always been a interest for you. Hopping on a plane and exploring a faraway destination, boarding a ship for the sunshine-filled Caribbean, jumping in the car for a cross-country trip… the ideas are endless.
There are so many great places to visit and things to do, it is a shame not to give a little thought to how to enjoy your lives and not just watch the days pass by. Most trips warrant pre-planning to some degree so start thinking now about where you would like to go and what you would like to do this year. Whether it is a trip to a Disney destination or a weekend trip to a local hot spot, get out there. Have fun. Spend time with your family and ENJOY YOURSELF!
