The Walt Disney World® Resort has announced an increase in the rental price of strollers at the Theme Parks effective 4/6/08. The rental price for single strollers is now $15 per day (previously $10 per day). Double strollers are now $31 per day (up from $18). Multi-day rental discounts are still available for a slight reduction in cost per day (single strollers $13/day and double $27/day). As always, you are still allowed to bring in your own stroller during your visit. There are also umbrella-type strollers available for purchase at various locations for around $40 plus tax.

Hurray! Free dining is back at the Walt Disney World® Resort in late August and September! This offer opened for Disney Visa Cardmembers on April 7th and is available to the general public as of April 10th. Packages must be booked by June 22nd. Availability is very limited so book early for the best resort/room choices! This offer is valid for stays most nights from 8/24 to 9/20. The included free dining is the Disney basic dining plan. For an additional $32 per adult and $10 per child (3-9), you can upgrade the free basic plan to the deluxe dining plan.

Come dressed as a pirate or your favorite princess to this special ticketed event at the Magic Kingdom® Park! This party is available for an extra charge ($43.95 plus tax to $45.95 plus tax for guests 10 and older, $37.95 plus tax to $39.95 plus tax for guests 3-9, the lower price is available if tickets are purchased in advance) and is presented on various nights during January through early June. Guests get to experience a specially themed party from 7pm to 12am on the designated nights with access to attractions and special shows. Enjoy the Enchanted Adventures parade and the Magic, Music and Mayhem fireworks display. A great treat for visitors young and young at heart!

Epcot®’s International Flower and Garden Festival is an annual event in its 15th year. Each year carries a particular theme with 2008 being about fun in the sun at the beach. Throughout the Theme Park you will be surrounded with some of the most beautiful floral displays ever created! Many topiaries of Disney characters and scenes are a visual delight. Various presentations are on tap which include expert gardener demonstrations, children’s activities and the free ‘Flower Power’ concert series which is presented in the America Gardens Theatre. There will be a special Peter Pan themed play area for children as well as the ever popular Minnie’s Butterfly Garden and daily ladybug release. Excellent photo opportunities are available during this expanded 75 day festival!
